Our Skills Training Program supports young children experiencing behavioral, emotional, or developmental challenges. Grounded in Positive Behavior Support (PBS) principles, the program focuses on understanding behavior, teaching replacement skills, and reinforcing positive, adaptive responses.

Yuma Psychological Services provides comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults, conducted by a licensed psychologist.
Assessments are appropriate when concerns extend beyond routine counseling and diagnostic clarification is needed to guide treatment, school planning, or personal understanding.
Evaluations may address:

Learning or cognitive concerns
Behavioral and developmental challenges
Each evaluation includes a clinical interview, review of history, standardized testing, behavioral observations, and diagnostic formulation in accordance with DSM-5-TR criteria. A detailed written report is provided with clear findings and individualized recommendations.
Evaluations are comprehensive, developmentally informed, and culturally responsive, with services available in person in Yuma and select components offered virtually for older adolescents and adults.
